    In the spirit of collaboration, this seven-inch record has Nick Ferrio working with some of Canada's best to do two different takes on the same song.

    Recorded in Toronto, Side A features Jonas Bonnetta and Sylvie Smith of Evening Hymns, Gavin Gardiner of The Wooden Sky, Steve Lambke of Constantines and Ian Kehoe of Marine Dreams. Recorded in Sackville, NB, Side B is a more intimate rendition, featuring a duet with Julie Doiron, Darren Browne, Daniel Fortin and Matt Monoogian.

    The seven-inch acts as an introduction to Nick Ferrio's sophomore album "Amongst the Coyotes and Birdsongs."

    The 7" will be released April 16, 2015 on Headless Owl Records and Shuffling Feet Records.
